CAMPAIGN FOR CARING
As Because Animals Matter continues to grow and succeed, the need for a central facility that supports our progressive ideas and keeps pace with the development of our community outreach programs has become critical. From the time of our founding in 2006 until late 2015, BAM operations were solely managed by volunteers in donated space and as a network of foster homes. Since that time we have purchased our downtown Hurricane office/store and then in 2016 received donor support specifically to hire our first paid employee, and then absorbed H.A.R.T. of Utah and their assets, including a leased warehouse in St. George.
This growth has been tremendously helpful in increasing BAM's impact on pets and people in need,

BAM is now managing the Campaign for Caring to serve as capital to complete a unique facility in downtown Hurricane that will house a main office, training and education space, dog kennels for health assessment and respite care, and an assortment of pet products and services.

Funds are also needed to meet the expanding needs of our developing services and community programs, though those will not be requested within this campaign.
