The Schilling Pet Adoption and Community Outreach Center

What once housed an office and our thrift store is now home to so much more!

We have completed our infrastructure improvements and That BAM Place is now the daily home to a number of resident dogs and those entering into care and awaiting their foster or adoptive homes.

In 2018 we hired our own Julie Simiskey as That BAM Place Manager, thanks to the generosity of a private donor who made the creation of the position possible.

That BAM Place is now open Tuesday through Saturday from 9-am to 2-pm for the public to meet dogs for adoption and socialization and more steady physical access to BAM's community outreach programs.

Take a look through some of our early photos from the transition of our adoption center.

And check out our current adoptable pets, or swing by to complete a volunteer application, sign up to be a transporter, visit with our dogs and ask some questions about BAM, and take part in our Canine Companion Club — where approved adoptable dogs get to leave the facility for a few hours of fun with you!
