Your donation of any amount will go to work immediately to support pet adoptions and programs focused on humane education, community service, and assistance to ensure that seniors and homebound can keep their beloved companion pets with them at home.
WAYS TO DONATE
Monetary
Donations can be made in person at any BAM event or facility, by mail, or online at the click of a button. Your donation can also be made as an Honorary or Memorial gift to honor a special person or pet who has touched your life. Whether your gift is an expression of sympathy, congratulations, a birthday wish, or just because, your recipient will be touched by this thoughtful gesture. For your honorary or memorial donation of any amount, we will send a notice of your gift to the address that you provide.
Online donations are processed via PayPal by clicking the Donate button to the right. You can choose to make a one-time donation or create a monthly donation of any amount. You do not have to create a PayPal account in order to donate using their service.

Items & Goods
From cat toys and dog treats, to jewelry and furniture — donations of pet items and other goods are used for our foster animals, are stored for fundraising events and seasonal Barking Lot Sales, or inventoried for sale at BAM Thrift. Donations of goods, even those orphaned objects that will find a new home through our store or sales events, are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
Planned Giving
Planned giving involves making arrangements now to have BAM, the pets in BAM’s care, and BAM’s various other humane education and community programs, benefit from some of your assets either currently or in the future. Through this type of giving individuals can often make a more significant gift than they ever thought possible while maximizing the financial and tax benefits to you, your estate, and your family.
There are many ways to make your planned gift; it can be as simple as transferring long-term appreciated stock to BAM directly (rather than selling it and donating after-tax proceeds) or naming BAM as a beneficiary in your will or life insurance policy.

Host a Fundraiser
Planning and hosting a fundraising activity as a non-affiliated group or individual can be tremendously successful in reaching support not typical of BAM's traditional support base. These fundraisers limit BAM's direct involvement, or don't require it at all. From bake sales to theme parties, these events can be a rewarding effort for any group, small or large, to assist BAM's adoptable pets and community programs. Is my online donation secure?
Absolutely. The security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. PayPal uses industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology to protect your information and provide a safe and secure environment for online donations. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, and we will only share personal information if you have given us specific permission to do so.
Are donations to BAM tax-deductible?
We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. An email donation receipt is always sent to you upon successful completion of your donation — please double-check that your contact information is correct before submission of all online donations or entries.

Do I get a receipt?
An emailed donation receipt is sent to you upon successful completion of your online donation. Please double-check that your contact information is correct before submission of all online donations or entries, and be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each month when your donation is processes. Donation receipts are also given at the receipt of physical donations (monetary or gifts-in-kind).
