Volunteer Program Overview
BAM volunteers come from all walks of life (retirees, corporate professionals, responsible teens, families, etc.) and may help just a few days a year, for 30 hours a week, and everything in between. Whether you are exercising the dogs from The BAM Center or assisting with a fundraiser event, every one of our dedicated and compassionate volunteers plays an integral role in the lives of the pets in BAM's care.
We will be updating this page in the coming days to include a video that we would like everyone to watch if they are interested in becoming a BAM volunteer. It will serve as an orientation to BAM and the tasks managed and run by volunteers. Some volunteer positions or tasks do require training, particularly when handling BAM dogs. All necessary trainings will be arranged by the Volunteer Coordinator at the earliest convenience.
