Thank you so much to everyone who made the first RRAA event such a success! It was held at Petco and attended by B.A.M., Best Friends, H.A.R.T., Hurricane Shelter, P.A.W.S., and Sadie's Safe Haven. Thanks to Kris Neal, who brought down much needed tables even though she had to work and could not attend. Thanks to all the folks who made items for the bake sale. B.A.M. would especially like to thank Andrea and Michelle, who bathed all of the B.A.M. dogs on Friday!

Events like this could not happen without each and every one of you. We applaud all of you for the work you do out of love.

Although not official, the last count I had was:

• B.A.M.: Mr Tubbs (pictured, left) and Gooseberry (right) adopted.
   One cat adopted thanks to Ann from Sadie's Safe Haven.
• Best Friends: One dog adopted and one adoption pending. Two cats adopted.
• H.A.R.T.: Six dogs adopted and one pending
• Hurricane Shelter: Two dogs and three cats adopted.
• P.A.W.S.: Two dogs adopted
• Sadie's Safe Haven: Two cats adopted.

So, interim grand totals are:

• 13 dogs adopted
• 7   cats adopted

Can't ask for a much better day than that, in my opinion. The money was given to Lezlie so she can give us a total, but it's my rough estimate that more than $300 was collected in donations.
