Newfoundland/Golden Retriever (mix): large/young/male
Marley would be one year old on Christmas Day 2008. He was a Golden mix, but was pure black, with large droopy eyes, big jowls, and webbed paws like a Newfoundland. Marley loved to play in water, chase a ball, and snuggle. He had little training, but had such great potential, and was highly food motivated, so training him was easy. He craved attention and exercise. A sweet dog, who gets along with other dogs, and most cats. He loved everyone with his true Retriever personality.
08 Dec. '08 update: Well, Marley was another dog who found a forever home in time for Christmas. He was adopted by a St. George, UT, family and joins three boys and another dog. Thank you to Andrea and AJ, who fostered Marley. He turned out to be quite a handful, but they worked with him so quickly that he found a home within a week.
