Click the numbers to see more pictures [2] [3] [4] [5] or [VID] [TV] Sunny was so much FUN, easy to love, and an excellent dog! She knew and listened to the commands sit, down, off, stay, come. She was affectionate, and playful towards people and other dogs. She could be trusted in the house, and off leash. Sunny liked to follow people around the house, and would be very loyal to her human. She was curious about everything, and considered herself a lap dog. Sunny would be good with young children as well. A child could lay on her, hug tight, and play all day with Sunny, and both would be very happy! She also displayed good watch dog qualities. Sunny was one year old, and needed daily exercise, playtime, and attention — a perfect forever home was waiting to be found.
02 Dec. '08 update Andrea and AJ were able to take a dog that another shelter group was having trouble placing, and find a great adoptive home for her. Sunny was big, very big, and everybody liked her, but most people couldn't deal with her size. They thought she was good natured, sweet, loving, energetic, but "too big". However, not too big for her new family, who will take her with them on biking and hiking trips. She did have a little trouble adjusting to the cat, but they are working on a truce.
