Labrador Retriever (mix): large/young/female
Shy had a rough life, it would seem. She was very afraid and timid. It took her a long time to trust. Prior to her BAM placement she had been in a series of foster homes and shelters since July 2007. After only a short time with BAM, she began making progress. Anyone patient enough to gain her trust was rewarded with a companion that loved to run, but could be trusted off leash ("It says here", as the old comedy routine runs!) While in BAM foster care she absconded using her former name of Honey, but was found safe. She now lives with Lois in a forever home.
