When Rosie was removed from neglectful circumstances by Michele & John, B.A.M's limited resources were already stretched beyond offering her the care she needed. So, Russell Rescue (the Oregon/Washington/Idaho region) was contacted, and they offered to help.
Rosie began her own version of the Underground Railroad journey north; through way stations in Salt Lake City, Utah; Boise, Idaho; Portland, Oregon; and then finally to Tenino, Washington. In a folk tradition as old as travel itself, she became Hurricane Rosie, the toast of the Pacific Northwest.
The pictures (click to enlarge) above were taken at the start of her journey, and those below were taken when she reached her destination.
Rosie is now looking for a new home and family. Go to her Petfinder entry (archived below on 15 Feb. '10) for all the details.
