Meet Amos! Amos was placed in care after having been neglected. His grooming session courtesy of
All Fur Love in Washington City, UT, was much needed. The ladies there gave Amos the first loving he has had in a long time. Amos will have a teeth cleaning this week and begin treatment for his bottom (see note below). He gets along well with other dogs, follows his people around and would make a great pet for a senior home.
NOTE: Amos has a condition known as Perianal Fistula, which may require life-long treatment although we do not know that at this time. Treatment, if needed, will cost $10 to $15 a month.
This condition is usually seen in German Shepherd dogs and definitely does not make Amos unadoptable. He's sweet, well behaved and loves to cuddle. More can be found on this condition at the
Pet Education website. Amos also is on medication for seizures and his seizures seem to be controlled through the use of his medicine.
